Important notice: Please read these Terms in full before submitting a booking, paying particular attention to the clauses shown in bold, which exclude or limit our liability, allocate risk to you, or govern dispute resolution. By ticking "I have read and agree to the Health-Checkup Service Terms" and submitting a booking, you confirm that you have fully understood and accepted all of these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this platform's services. These Terms are concluded in Chinese; this English translation is provided for reference only, and the Chinese version prevails in case of any inconsistency.

Article 1 — Services

This platform provides the following non-medical agency services related to health checkups. This platform is not a medical institution and performs no medical acts.

1.1 Checkup booking: we book the medical institution, package, and time slot that you specify or confirm. If you do not specify an institution and entrust the choice to us, we recommend only from our partner hospitals and book only after your confirmation; your confirmation is deemed your own independent decision, and our recommendation is no guarantee of the institution's service quality or examination results.

1.2 Pre-checkup reminders: we relay the institution's instructions (fasting, medication pauses, documents to bring, etc.).

1.3 On-site accompaniment: we assist with check-in, queuing, department wayfinding, and similar administrative matters.

1.4 Report collection: upon your written authorization and proof of identity, we collect paper or electronic checkup reports on your behalf. Where laws, regulations, or the institution's rules prohibit third-party collection of certain results, we only relay the collection instructions and you must collect them yourself.

1.5 Report translation: we translate the institution's Chinese report into English, marked "Translation — for reference only".

1.6 Report delivery: we deliver reports by email to the address you designate, at your request.

1.7 This platform expressly does not participate in: selecting examination items, performing medical examinations, interpreting diagnostic conclusions, treatment advice, medication guidance, or health-risk assessment; nor are we responsible for the follow-up examination, diagnosis, or treatment of any abnormality found in a checkup.

Article 2 — Fees & Payment

2.1 Fees follow the prices published on this platform or the quote confirmed in writing between the parties. Quotes may be shown in USD for convenience, but all amounts are denominated and settled in Chinese yuan (CNY). We accept international bank transfer, Alipay, WeChat Pay, and Visa / Mastercard credit cards.

2.2 After you confirm the final itinerary and quote, a 20% deposit secures your hospital slots and hotel booking (if any); until the deposit clears, slots are held but not guaranteed. The remaining balance is due upon your arrival.

2.3 You may request an invoice (fapiao) for the service-fee portion.

Article 3 — Client Obligations & Acknowledgements

3.1 You decide the medical institution, checkup package, and checkup date yourself (including where you confirm our recommendation under clause 1.1).

3.2 Truthful health disclosure: you must proactively and truthfully inform the medical institution of your medical history, allergies, medications, and family medical history. You bear all consequences of concealment or false statements.

3.3 Assumption of medical risk: you fully understand that during a checkup, conditions such as fainting at the sight of blood or needles, allergic reactions, shock, cardio-cerebrovascular events, or sudden death may occur due to your own constitution or underlying conditions. This platform bears no liability for such events, except where caused by our intent or gross negligence. If emergency rescue is needed in such an event, you are deemed to consent to the medical institution administering emergency treatment, and the resulting rescue and medical costs are borne by you, unless the law provides otherwise.

3.4 Assumption of misdiagnosis risk: checkup reports and diagnostic conclusions are issued independently by the medical institution. This platform makes no commitment as to the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of checkup results and bears no liability for missed diagnoses, misdiagnoses, or report errors.

3.5 Translation acknowledgement: you confirm that our translation service is linguistic conversion only and does not include:

  • (a) review of the medical accuracy of medical terminology;
  • (b) interpretation, assessment, or advice regarding checkup conclusions;
  • (c) any guarantee that the translation is fit for subsequent medical care, insurance claims, visa applications, or other purposes.

3.6 You must provide at least one emergency contact with valid contact details. If you do not, this platform may decline to provide on-site accompaniment.

3.7 You are advised to purchase travel insurance covering medical care and accidents for the duration of your trip.

Article 4 — Exclusions & Limitation of Liability

This Article excludes or limits this platform's liability. Please read it with particular care.

4.1 No medical acts: this platform and its staff perform no medical examination, diagnosis, or treatment, and bear no liability for any medical procedure during the checkup or its consequences.

4.2 Personal injury: this platform bears no liability for the following personal injuries occurring during or after a checkup, except where caused by our intent or gross negligence:

  • (a) local or systemic reactions caused by blood draws, injections, contrast imaging, endoscopy, or similar procedures;
  • (b) shock, coma, or death caused by the sudden onset of your own illness;
  • (c) accidents caused by your failure to follow pre-checkup requirements such as fasting or pausing medication;
  • (d) harm caused by your concealment of medical or allergy history.

4.3 Misdiagnosis and report errors:

  • (a) this platform only passes on the original report issued by the medical institution and does not review or modify its content;
  • (b) for any loss caused by the institution's misdiagnosis, missed diagnosis, report errors, or report delays, you must claim against the medical institution;
  • (c) this platform does not provide, promise, or guarantee the medical accuracy of any checkup conclusion.

4.4 Translation liability boundaries:

  • (a) if the translation is textually inconsistent with the original report, we will correct it free of charge;
  • (b) if the original report itself contains medical errors or non-standard terminology, we bear no liability and the institution's original report prevails;
  • (c) disputes arising from your use of the translation for medical care, insurance, visas, or other purposes are borne by you; we can provide the original report for verification;
  • (d) we bear no liability for comprehension differences caused by the ambiguity of medical terminology where we have exercised reasonable care.
  • You should check the translation and raise any written objection within 15 days of receipt; absent a timely objection, you are deemed to accept its textual accuracy, without prejudice to your statutory rights.

4.5 Third-party acts: harm caused by the fault of medical institutions, medical staff, emergency services, or other third parties is that third party's responsibility, and this platform bears no substitute or joint liability. Where we subcontract translation to a third party, we remain responsible to you for translation quality and for the confidentiality obligations in Article 6.

4.6 Liability cap: to the maximum extent permitted by law, this platform's total liability to you in connection with these services is capped at the service fee you actually paid for the relevant order. This cap does not apply to harm caused by our intent or gross negligence, or where the law prohibits such a limitation.

Article 5 — Emergencies

5.1 If you suffer a health emergency during a checkup, this platform provides non-medical administrative assistance only: summoning on-site medical staff, helping call 120 (China's emergency number), notifying your emergency contact, preserving on-site records, and organizing and handing over receipts to you or your emergency contact.

5.2 This platform has no authority to perform any medical procedure, sign any medical document, or make any medical decision on your behalf.

5.3 Having duly completed the assistance above, this platform bears no liability for the outcome of emergency treatment or its bodily consequences, except where caused by our intent or gross negligence.

Article 6 — Personal Information & Confidentiality

6.1 This platform processes your personal information in compliance with the Personal Information Protection Law of the People's Republic of China and other applicable laws. Your health-checkup data is sensitive personal information; we process it only to the extent necessary to provide the services listed in these Terms and only with your separate consent.

6.2 We keep your passport information, identity information, checkup data, and translation materials confidential; without your written authorization we will not disclose them to, share them with, or commercially exploit them for any third party, except as necessary to perform these services (e.g. submitting booking information to the medical institution).

6.3 Where you ask us to send checkup reports or translations to an overseas email address or to receive them overseas, this is a cross-border provision of data at your own request, to which you separately consent; we will take reasonable technical measures to secure the transmission.

6.4 Where we engage a third party for translation or similar tasks, we will bind it to confidentiality obligations no weaker than this Article; if such a third party leaks your information and causes harm, we will be liable to you as required by law and may then seek recourse against that third party.

6.5 After the service ends, your records are retained for 3 years (or longer where required by law) to handle after-sales disputes and satisfy legal retention duties. On expiry we will delete or anonymize them; you may also request deletion of your personal information at any time as permitted by law, and we will process the request within a reasonable period.

Article 7 — Changes, Cancellation & Refunds

7.1 If you change or cancel a booking:

  • (a) with 7 or more days' notice before your arrival date: the deposit is refunded in full, less any non-refundable third-party costs already incurred (e.g. non-refundable hotel prepayments); rescheduling is free and unlimited;
  • (b) with 3 to 7 days' notice before arrival: 50% of the deposit is refunded; alternatively, you may choose one free reschedule to a new date within 90 days (subject to hospital availability) in place of a refund;
  • (c) with less than 3 days' notice, or if you do not attend: the deposit is non-refundable; rescheduling is considered case by case.

7.2 If the medical institution cancels or reschedules, or a booking error by this platform prevents the service, you may choose a full refund or a free rearrangement.

7.3 Where force majeure (see Article 9) prevents performance, the undelivered portion is refunded in full; visa denial notified more than 3 days before your arrival date qualifies for a full refund.

7.4 Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 10 business days of confirmation; bank transfer fees, where applicable, are deducted from the refunded amount.

Article 8 — Breach & Remedies

8.1 For service faults by this platform such as booking errors, omitted services, or lost reports, you may choose free rectification or a refund of the fee for the affected service item; where you suffer loss, compensation is subject to the liability cap in clause 4.6.

8.2 For extensive mistranslation or omission of key information in our translation, we will re-translate free of charge; where you suffer loss, compensation is subject to the liability cap in clause 4.6.

8.3 If you unilaterally terminate without cause, the refund rules in Article 7 apply.

Article 9 — Force Majeure

Where objective circumstances that are unforeseeable, unavoidable, and insurmountable — such as natural disasters, epidemics, government acts, visa or border controls, or large-scale flight cancellations — prevent performance, neither party is liable for breach, and the matter is handled under clause 7.3.

Article 10 — Governing Law & Disputes

10.1 The formation, performance, and interpretation of these Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China (excluding the laws of Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan and conflict-of-law rules).

10.2 Disputes arising from these Terms should first be resolved through friendly negotiation; failing that, either party may bring proceedings before the competent people's court at the place where this platform's operator is located.

Article 11 — Miscellaneous

11.1 These Terms are concluded in Chinese; the English translation is for reference only. In case of any inconsistency between the Chinese and English versions, the Chinese version prevails.

11.2 This platform may revise these Terms in line with laws, regulations, and business changes; revisions will be published on the website with an updated version number and effective date, and do not apply to orders already confirmed.

11.3 If any clause of these Terms is held invalid, the validity of the remaining clauses is unaffected.
